Hosting with Naqiyah Mayat: Shaved Coconut Ice & Condensed Milk

Taking dessert back to basics but keeping it totally delicious.

Time and Servings

Serves: 4 people

Preparation Time: 20 minutes plus enough time for freezing.

Ingredients

Coconut water and ice trays.

1 can condensed milk

Canned pineapple

1 cup ready made sago pudding

1 pineapple cubed

To garnish:

Toasted coconut flakes

Dehydrated pineapple

Canned lychees

Method

Freeze coconut water overnight.

Once frozen decant into a food processor and crush the ice.

Add sago pudding into the bottom of a dessert bowl.

Top with crushed ice.

Drizzle condensed milk over this and some syrup from canned pineapple.

Garnish with the rest of the ingredients.
